Virtual Router not starting

description

I've got a problem with the latest version of Virtual Router (0.9). whenever i click on Start Virtual Router i get the error message Virtual Router could not be started.
I tried to look for some log file by the program but I couldn't find any.
In Windows Application Events the only voices VirtualRouter provides are 2 informations: Start Saving State and State Saved.
I tried to uninstall, purge windows' registry for useless keys and reinstall but it didn't work. I even disabled IPv6 from the system and deleted all virtual NICs that software like virtualbox created but nothing seems to work.
Strange thing: when I installed it, I tired before rebooting and it worked! only that time though...
I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 up with all updates available.
Can somebody help me please?

I encountered the same problem and when I searched on line, I have found a lot of posts with no real help. Finally I tried Youtube and watched one clip that made it work via stopping and restarting the virtual router service in Win 7. And that did the trick. And it worked ever since.

So my suggestion is for the developers of this community to build the mechanism in the code during the initial installation.

For me the following tool helped out: http://virtualwifi.sourceforge.net/ (don't know if the tool is available in English too, please contact the developers)
The tool offers an easy way to activate or deactivate the Microsoft Virtual Wifi Miniport Adpater. No command-line knowledge is needed. Both tools can be used parallel with no problems. As Virtual Wifi is open source too, I'd like to recommend the integration of both tools to create an "eierlegende Wollmilchsau" (mean's "best of best") ... ;-)

Exactly the same issue here...
What's wrong with it?
