FYI, if Windows SmartScreen prevents you from installing, then you'll need to click the "Unblock" button on the installer File Properties dialog.

Creates a connection but internet won't work. It says "Wi-Fi doesn't have a valid IP configuration" on my Windows 8 laptop when if I run the troubleshooter, and "Your phone couldn't connect to the Wi-Fi network mynet because there was no response from the network. Please try again later." on my Lumia 920. I had the exact same problem when trying to create an ad hoc network.

Easy installation and works. Only thing I dislike is the range of the WiFi. My devices need to pretty much be right next to my computer to get the the WiFi access, otherwise if I leave the room they get disconnected.

It worked fine at first but then stopped and my phone could not connect to it.

It worked someting like minutes then i plugged a usb wireless adapter and something went wrong. I runned the program again and i couldn't start it :S (Maybe it's somehow related because of virutal machine or hamachi, I'm using win 8)

I looked at and tested a number of programs to share my connection. This is the only one that worked immediately after installation, required no fiddling with settings, didn't drop the signal, and works every time I pull it up. I use it to connect a laptop, an iTouch and my printer. I am running it on a self built rig running Windows 7 Pro.

I already installed virtual manager 0.9. When I tried to install this version, I got the error "1001 Service already installed", wich I am not able to uninstall. Please tell me how to uninstall the old service.

Works with Xperia U, Miro on Windows 7, but got disconnected every like 15 min., solved this by using this tool alongside with ConnectifyMe hotspot tool.

Tested on windows7 with other pcs and just works like a charm. The one star missing is because of the really terrible written xaml and mvvm pattern - You just don't want to rearrange this GUI!

Tested it with my Sony Xperia Neo V MT15i and Windows 7. It gets connected. After approx 20 minute, the connection automatically goes off from the device and the Peers connected goes blank. When I try to connect again to the same SSID, it tries to connect and after a while, it stops, with "Authentication Problem".

hey it is not working. error not shown when i click to open but at that time a popup window show that close the program or click solution for online.. when i click to solution for online it is still not show online any error...

Not working from Galaxy S2 ... Show "Obtaining IP Address" ... and after 1 minut fail ... can not get ip via DHCP , only manual/static IP! Connection to a normal router is ok, no problems! Working from iPod and other chinese tablet ... but not from S2 !!!

Great application. It works overall but it doesn't work when connecting via a Nintendo 3DS or using your Ethernet connection as the shared connection. But it works when not using an ethernet connection or using a Nintendo 3DS to connect to the virtual network you created. Great work though! :)
