Remote Desktop

The Virtual Router is brilliant. Great little program that does what it says and does it well.

I am running a small Windows 7 homegroup network on a boat. A micro computer with low power consumption is our server and connected to WiFi as supplied by different marinas. Using the Virtual Router I then distribute the incoming WiFi to two netbooks running W7 onboard. The homegroup is also activated so that we can share the printer and files existing on the server. As the plan is to have the server running all the time but mainly without a monitor it would be nice to be able to remotely control it via Microsoft's Remote Desktop. This does not seem to work however. I have tried disabling the Firewall on all computers, and I have made sure that Remote Desktop is activated/allowed on all computers under the advanced settings on the control panel.

All suggestions are most welcome.

Found the answer myself.

My server is running W7 Home Premium which  cannot act as a Remote Desktop server.
