Hi
I get same error message above at two different system. (you can see my systems specifications) Virtual Router start but I cannot share internet on it. So, my problem is not starting VR but start it with "Share connection" option via your program or I do it manually from Windows Network Connection [Adapter Properties]\Share [Tab]\Allow sharing ....

I read this page and start all mentioned Services or make them Start automatically with windows: Windows 7 Internet Connection Sharing issue "(null)" I get this error message: An error occurred while Internet Connection Sharing was being enabled. (null) when I try to share internet connection on VR at windows!!!?

I'm a coder too and I wrote a program like yours too. but like yours, mine do not work on some systems and I get above problem on some systems! (I did not use API functions to create or start Hostednetwork but I use netsh to create or start it at my app ;) )

I will be glad to know what make above problem at some cases!!!

Hi Guys

I had the same issue. I managed to resolve it by starting the Windows Firewall Service.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Phil
