Cannot Start Management - Service is not running

Feb 7, 2013 at 12:45 PM
I found that if logging in with Local Administrator account it works 100%

If I log in with my domain account... nothing...

Perhaps this issue has something to do with security rights assigned on the service??

The service gets installed with Admin rights so it can operate, as the Virtual Wifi API's in Windows require admin rights to call them. Your issue could very well be related to domain permissions.

my domain acocunt is adminstrator of the computer, but I have "service is not running" error message, but really the service is working and I can use the shared connection.
I cannot start or stop the virtual router from the gui and I have no info about who is connected.

I had same problem with version 1.0 even when service was running.

Here's how to solve:
◾go to install folder and open VirtualRouterClient.exe.config
◾in the <endpoint> tag, remove the <identity> tag:
 <identity>
    <userPrincipalName value="CHRISLAPTOP\Chris" />
  </identity>
Once you remove it - problem will be solved. njoi!
