I run Virtual router and successfully connect to it from another laptop.  I can see the given IP address from the connected laptop but I can not use browser to visit any webpages.  Do I need to any extra settings? 

check your internet laptop source  firewall?

Also make sure that the shared internet connection is allowed to use http, https protocol etc
